Blue is one of my favorite colors, always have been, especially the beautiful lapis, like the sweater that you see in the photos. I almost wore blue shoes today too, but went with my gut and these Frye boots instead. You know how some people wear flip flops year round? I wear my Frye boots! I only have two pairs so far, but I am sure I will be expanding my collection soon.
Yesterday I shared my love for the Avett Brothers, today I can’t help but mention one other favorite artist of mine – Regina Spektor. Her song Blue Lips is where I stole the title for todays post from. But my new favorite song of hers is I cut Off My Hair! You have to listen to the lyrics, they are hilarious. I used to live in Manhattan, and she sings about it, so it brings back the memories, the good times and makes me want to go back!

This post for #AtoZChallenge ties in so nicely with our #ThriftStyleThursday theme. Today’s post is supposed to be inspired by nature. And once again, the sky has always been one of my main sources of inspiration. It’s not the limit, but it’s a great way to forget about your everyday life and kind of dissolve in it. That’s why I really cherish my mornings now when I let out Mason, and I sit on the back deck, drink my coffee or tea, and start the new day!
